Kenneth Branagh’s semi-autobiographical story of a working class family and their young son’s childhood, set during the tumult of the late 1960’s at the start of ‘the Troubles’. Widely tipped for this year’s Oscars/BAFTAs for ‘Best Film’ and for ‘Best Supporting Actor’ performances by Judi Dench and Kieran Hands.
