We’re an award-winning bookshop and café located in the centre of Bramhall Village, Cheshire. At the heart of the local community, we have a reputation for excellent service, imaginative events and creating a buzz about books. Have a good look around and you’ll get a feel for us and our bookshop. Whether you want to come to an event, or join a book group it’s all here – and every book you could possibly want is here for the asking too.

We love to see our customers in person but if you’re further afield, or it’s hard to get in, you can still shop with us online (and ethically too!). Do sign up for our newsletter and hear what we’re up to and you can follow us on social media.

We always love seeing our customers in person in the shop however we now have other buying options for you too. You can shop online and have your books delivered to you at home. We are an affiliate of bookshop.org, an online book buying platform designed to benefit independent bookshops. Every online purchase made in this way supports us (spread the word to friends and family!) although we benefit most when you buy from us direct.

There’s lots going on at Simply Books

We’re very much a community bookshop. As well as our programme of events – books clubs, coffee mornings, visiting authors and Simply Cinema – we love being involved with local schools, charities and community groups. We’re pretty much up for anything!
